The Carnegie Museum isn’t just dinosaurs, it’s also got art. Lots and lots of art. So much art, that I think I lost my girlfriend about four times while we wandered that section…

This was the first exhibit that we saw. Yes, two Macs on a table was an art exhibit. It’s going to get worse before it gets better…
- They dedicated an entire room to a shower drain installed on the wall
- And here is their reasoning as to why…
- Its an old cushion that’s covered in resin.
- And here a pyramid of brillo pads…
It’s not all bad though. There are some good pieces there.
- Check out the badonkadonk on Vishnu
- This tub could have used that drain the other guy stuck on the wall
Here’s a piece I really like. I actually completely forget whose tomb it’s supposed to be. In fact, I probably should have taken pictures of the descriptions and stuff for each piece so I’d have that. Maybe next time…
Anyways, it’s a large tomb with two people resting on top, and a different woman on each corner.
- I’m thinking this is Justice
- And this lady is choking a dragon
- And here is lantern lady
- This woman is probably my favorite. The reason why, take a look at the next pic.
- She has this old man on the back of her head
- It was kind of hard to get the top. I had to just hold the camera over my head and pray they looked good.
Normally, the Hall of Architecture is full of statues and models of various historical buildings. It’s all pretty awesome. Now though, they are full of Christmas trees, which aren’t as awesome. There were these nice looking miniature carvings off to the one side though.
And here’s Jane, the juvenile t-rex. She probably should have been in the last post, but she made it into this one instead.
