I took the love of my life out for a nice vacation for her birthday. It wasn’t until we made it to DC however, that she remembered her birthday is also the anniversary of Roe V. Wade. As such, we were met by an onslaught of protesters filling the National Mall.
Thankfully, they were mostly gone within hours, however, they left this shit all over the place. It seems that they want to save the babies, but don’t give a damn about the conditions of the world that they saved them for. Being a assholes is not the way to sway people to your cause.
A 911 call was made from a Wal-Mart in Beavercreek, Ohio. The caller stated that a man had a rifle, and was pointing it at people and kids. Police responded, and when they confronted him, they fired upon him quickly when they say he started to raise the rifle he was carrying. Afterwards, it was found that the firearm was actually a pellet gun, not the deadly weapon that the police feared. The 911 caller also admitted that he lied about what he saw on the call. It’s a terrible mess. But there are a couple of things I would like to set straight.
Any firearm that fires more than one bullet when you pull the trigger is considered a “Machine Gun” under US law. It doesn’t matter if it fires in bursts, if its full auto, or even if it fires out of multiple barrels. People are always looking for different ways to get around this restriction and increase your rate of fire, without actually turning into a “Machine Gun” and having its sale restricted. One of the more popular items are bump fire stocks. A new contender is the bi-directional trigger by Liberty Gun Works.
I’ve been seeing a lot of shit about Hobby Lobby being posted all over social media over the last couple days, and there is one thing that most people seem to get wrong, and that’s how your rights actually work.
Since the 70’s UVB-76 was a short wave radio station that would constantly play a buzzing sound, but at random times, it the buzzing may stop, and you would be greeted to people talking, or maybe some morse code. Yesterday, we were greeted by something a little unexpected though.
You’ve probably seen the story about McGruff the Crime Dog by now. His home was raided, and they found 1000 pot plants, 27 firearms including a grenade launcher, and 9,000 rounds of ammo. There are two assumptions that people are making when they first read about it, and both are wrong.
Every single one of us is guaranteed the Freedom of Speech by the First Amendment. It’s a wonderful thing and allows us to saw what ever we want, whenever we want. But sometimes, something happens to our freedoms. Recently, we’ve had two martyrs of the first amendment, Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty, and Corey Feldman of every movie you loved growing up, and then not much else.
